Beverley-Anne Keenan

Beverley Keenan began singing almost as soon as she could talk and was introduced to a show band as a young child when a neighbour overheard her remarkable voice. Her singing talent came to the notice of celebrated Knotty Ash Squire of Comedy, Ken Dodd, and Beverley regularly opens Ken’s shows with a song.

Beverley spent a year at LIPA where she performed in a musical play, Life Changes, during which she first sang Perfect Day. Along with her sister Barbara, Beverley is a member of the singing trio Elite, and recently won MTV’s national talent competition ‘Wannabe’.

Beverley has also recently worked with China Crisis and The Farm, and took part in the opening ceremony when Liverpool launched 2008 as European Capital of Culture.
